According to Collin County CAD, the house was built in 1900. A fellow photographer had a brief conversation about the house with the landowner and she was told the house has been with her family since it was built.  I was told the interior was in good shape and had been used for storage.  The owners put on a new metal roof a few years ago and boarded it up. I’m assuming they boarded it up to discourage unwanted guests from checking out the house. Sadly, the old farmhouse was demolished.

After looking at the interior photos, it looks good enough to live in and had a ton of historic architecture that was saved before the house was lost.

I haven’t had the chance to look into why it was demolished or even the history of the farm/ranch house. Over the last couple of years, the area has had some bad weather that could have damaged the house, or the owners decided it was time to remove the house.
