While driving back from Corpus Christi one weekend I came across two old farm houses and a Ford Econoline Motor Home near West Sinton, Texas and I had to stop and take a couple of pictures of the houses and motor home.
Two abandoned Farm Houses and Old Ford Econoline Motor Home Near West
Sinton, Texas
I found the houses and Econline motor home off a muddy heavily rutted dirt road that I probably couldn’t find it again if I wanted to.
The houses and the motor home have seen better days. The roofs on both houses are full of holes and one of the houses looks to be an older house that looks like it might fall in on its self any time. From the road it looks like the houses are now used for storage. Some of the windows have been shot out.
During my travels the roads in the area were rough, muddy and full of pot holes so deep, that a car could easily bottom out. These roads need an SUV, Jeep, or a truck. Because of this issue, I had to call off my exploring of the area. Next time I’m in the area in an SUV, I plan on exploring the area. It looks promising.

About the Images
The images were shot by hand with my Sony Nex-3N and a Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom. Next, I post processed with Topaz Clarity to add texture, brighten, and bring out the details in the image. Then I removed the dust spots. Finally, I used Topaz DeNoise to remove the noise from the image.
